RightsGraph prioritizes sources that provide clear usage rights, stable source pages, attribution information and safe metadata access.

Preferred sources

• Public-domain and CC0 collections.
• Open-access museums and public archives.
• Creative Commons sources with clear attribution rules.
• Official APIs with documented usage terms.

Sources postponed or avoided

• Platforms with anti-competing-service restrictions.
• Sources that prohibit automated access for our use case.
• Sources where thumbnail display or caching is unclear.
• Sources that require bulk download or original file re-hosting to provide value.
